Rustam Minnikhanov: People’s attitude to power depends on the efficiency of the housing and utilities sector

The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin reported today at the republican meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan about the current stage of implementation of republican programs of the overhaul of housing and social facilities. The meeting in the form of video conferencing was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin. The minister said that according to the program of overhaul repairing of apartment buildings in 2019, 936 residential buildings with a total area of ​​5.6 million square meters are planned to be renovated. The program involves 42 municipalities (except Atninsky, Drozhzhanovsky and Kaibitsky districts). Irek Faizullin also briefly announced the indicators on the collection of payments for housing and communal services. So, on 1st of March, the level of collection of payments amounted to 94.5%, which is 0.4% higher than the same period last year (94.1%). The average annual level remains at a fairly high level - 98.6%. In conclusion, the Minister recalled that this Sunday is the Day of the workers of housing and communal services.
