This morning President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov walked along the historical center of Kazan and along the embankment of the Kazanka River (Kremlevskaya Embankment). Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by chief of staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikov, Minister of construction, architecture and housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others. At the site near the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Musa Jalil, a scheme for redistributing automobile and pedestrian flows in the historic center of the city was presented to Rustam Minnikhanov. It is assumed that by changing the traffic pattern of the cars, pedestrian connections between Svoboda Square - Sultan-Galiyev Square - Fuchs Square will be organized. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin gave explanations. The following were objects № 62, 64 on the Karl Marks street. Director of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan R.M. Nurgaleev asked to transfer the two-story buildings to the museum, for further placement of museum exhibits in them. Rustam Minnikhanov instructed the Kazan City Hall to work on this issue. In the building № 70/10 on Karl Marks street placed a branch of the Moscow State Academic Art Institute n.a. Surikov in Kazan. At the moment, the building is under repair and restoration work. During the inspection of the Kremlin Embankment from the street Podluzhnaya Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to organize a football field in the vacant territories immediately after the Millennium Bridge.
