In Tatarstan, by 2022 network of multilingual educational complexes with training in three languages - Russian, Tatar and English will be built
The meeting of the trusteeship and administrative councils of the Foundation "Vozrozhdenie" was chaired by the State Councilor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev. The meeting participants summed up the work of the organization on the revival of the ancient Bolgar and the island-town of Sviyazhsk and discussed the progress of the pilot project - the creation of multilingual educational complexes. Mintimer Sharipovich Shaimiev named the key task for the coming years - reforming the education system. This is the creation of a multilingual educational complex in the republic. Within four years it is planned to build six such facilities - with training in three languages - Russian, Tatar and English, two of which will be located in Kazan and one each - in Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk and Elabuga. “With the participation of the foundation, we embarked on a new project - the problem of the state of education. The world is changing so fast that we are lagging behind, running out of time. An artificial stagnation has been created in our country in the education system, meanwhile the methods of educating children around the world are changing. We can not lag behind. The price of the issue is too high,” - Mintimer Shaimiev said.
Head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, in turn, spoke about the work done to create multilingual education complexes: “In accordance with the tasks set at the previous meeting, and the agreed schedule for building a school for 1,244 students on Bondarenko Street: the site was prepared in time , project documentation has been developed, a state expert opinion has been received. Work is underway on the main educational building. 48% of piles are drived - 654 pieces for today. The main developer controls the site.” The Minister also informed about the situation with the construction of the boarding school: “For a boarding school for 240 places: the technical documentation has been submitted for examination. Approval received. We do not see any problems. 241 piles are drived - also 48%. On Bichurin street - here our object does not provide for federal funding. In the summer, we provide work on the facades, roofing and on the agreed part of the old building - overhaul and reconstruction. The task is to complete the agreement points. This is in relation to the old building. Regarding extension to the building, it remains to coordinate the project. On 1st of June we plan to receive a positive expert opinion. The contracting organization is already carrying out work on site preparation which done by 80%, and 60% of the piles are driven. Networks are rendered by 50%. This week we will complete the removal of networks, and the site will be completely ready. Each complex will have country year-round campuses. During the meeting, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Fayzullin was awarded the Gratitude by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for his significant contribution to the implementation of the complex project “Cultural heritage - the island-town of Sviyazhsk and the ancient Bolgar”.
