The new Ilham Shakirov Concert Hall was opened at Kazan Expo by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The event went within the framework of the Day of the native language and the 133th anniversary of the birth of the Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai. A new concert hall with an area of 3,348.75 square meters forms a single hall with several transformation options. In the backstage space there are storage rooms for equipment and decoration, wardrobe rooms with fitting rooms, waiting rooms for the stage, dressing rooms, simultaneous translation rooms and a rehearsal room. In full, the hall is designed for 3187 seats, including 33 places for low mobility groups. In the decoration of the ceiling and walls of the hall, Acoustic panels "Decoustic" were used, made according to the requirements for multifunctional halls with sound amplification of this type. The project envisages the formation of a single hall with 8 variants of transformation due to the transformable partition and mobile stands: 3187 seats, 2971 seats, 2405 seats, 2189 seats, 1745 seats, 1529 seats, 1145 seats, 910 seats.
