The IV Conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” is held in Innopolis from  22nd to 24th of May. DIIR-2019 is dedicated to cross-cutting digital technologies and the prospects for their development in Russia. The main topic of discussion was the strategy for the development of digital technologies in our country, which will be embodied in the form of roadmaps for each of the "cross-cutting" technologies, whose preparation is already actively engaged in the core community. The conference is attended by over 5,000 delegates and 370 speakers, including representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Government of the Russian Federation, federal ministries and departments, representatives of state corporations, business communities, investment and venture funds, heads of the country's largest educational institutions, regional authorities, and also representatives of federal, regional and industry media. Today, on the second day of the conference, a panel discussion “Information Modeling in Construction: the Role of the State and Features of Implementation” was held. The experts discussed issues of state policy in the field of information modeling in construction in the framework of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation No. Pr-1235 of July 19, 2014 “On Modernizing the Construction Industry and Improving the Quality of Construction” and the Federal Project “Digital Construction”.

As it was mentioned by the head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, according to forecasts, digitalization will minimize costs and reduce the time required for the construction of facilities erected at the expense of Russian budgets of all levels to 20%. This indicator can be achieved in five years. It is also expected that the time will be reduced by 30% from the decision to build the facility to its commissioning. He also said that the republic actively uses various information and analytical systems to optimize working processes in all sectors of the economy, including construction. “Currently, work is underway to form and develop a common information space between the participants of the construction process: sectoral ministries and departments, customers, design and expert organizations, construction supervision bodies and other departments - the creation of the state information system “Stroycomplex of the Republic of Tatarstan”. It is planned this year to complete work on the development of the system and conduct pilot testing.”
