In the Republic of Tatarstan in 2018, the heating period began on the 21st of September and ended on the 13th of May 2019. The duration of the heating period in the country was 235 days. This was announced today by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on the results of the work of organizations of the fuel and energy complex, housing and communal services in the heating period of 2018/2019. Irek Faizullin noted that the start-up of heat first began at the social facilities (kindergartens, schools, hospitals, clinics) and housing stock. As of 5th of October 2018, all facilities were completely heated. By the beginning of the last heating season, a lot of work was done in the republic to prepare the housing stock and public utilities, which ensured uninterrupted energy supply, - Irek Faizullin said.
The Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that the governing organizations obtained readiness passports for apartment buildings by 99.1%. Speaking about the passage of the heating period, Irek Faizullin said that the heating period passed without major accidents, however, there were temporary blackouts, but residents always remained with heat. During the passage of the heating period of 2018/2019, 246 emergency outages were recorded on utility networks, which is 8 more compared to the period of 2017/2018. The number of accidents on heating networks in the heating period 2018/2019 was 5 less than in the heating period 2017/2018, at the same time there was a significant increase in the number of accidents on cold water networks - by 25 and gas networks - by 19 cases. One of the common causes of failures in the operation of heat supply systems were power outages of thermal energy sources. Irek Fayzullin reported that there are 13,697 gasified apartment buildings in the republic, which is 80.3% of the total number of apartment buildings located in the Republic of Tatarstan.
