In the Republic of Tatarstan, on the basis of specialized educational institutions, together with leading employers, 37 resource centers for training workers have been created. In 2020, their number will be brought to 41 - these organizations make a significant contribution to the formation of a personnel reserve for industrial enterprises in the region. This was announced today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a press conference on the occasion of the opening of the 45th world championship in professional excellence according to WorldSkills standards. The press conference was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova, President of WorldSkills International Simon Bartley, Director General of the Union of Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Robert Urazov. Thus, opening a press conference, Tatyana Golikova said that 1351 contestants from 63 countries will participate in the championship, 56 competencies will be presented.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that such a large-scale international project is a significant event for Russia. “Our country accepts such competitions for the first time in the 60-year history of the movement,” - he said. - This is, above all, a great responsibility. Every major international project taking place in Kazan is another contribution to the development of the city and the republic. ” According to Rustam Minnikhanov, in Tatarstan, many innovative projects are being tested. “Everything that is being done today in Tatarstan is aimed at making life in the republic more attractive and comfortable,” - said Rustam Minnikhanov. - We are grateful to the leadership of Russia, the delegates of WorldSkills International for the fact that in 2015 they entrusted Kazan with the right to host the world championship. Especially for the competition, the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center was built. WorldSkills International colleagues supported us in creating the largest championship opening ceremony in the history of the movement, which will begin in a few hours, Rustam Minnikhanov also recalled. Recall that the Russian team at WorldSkills in four competencies assigned to the republic’s Ministry of Construction will be represented by five compatriots: Nikita Komarov and his doubler Radik Sirazetdinov (“Concrete construction work”), Dmitry Malinov (“Plumbing and heating”), Ilnaz Akmalov (“Plumbing and heating" - Juniors), Stanislav Kozyrev (“Landscape Design”).
