Competition Award for Journalists " “Letter A”
Everyone who writes about architecture, urbanism and urban planning is invited to participate in the III All-Russian contest-award “Letter A”. Organizer - Institute of Contemporary Urban Studies, partners: Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, Union of Russian Journalists, Union of Architects of Russia, Union of Moscow Architects, Association of Designers of the Moscow Region, Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of the Moscow Region, ARCHMOSKVA Architectural Exhibition and others. Journalists and bloggers, radio presenters, photojournalists and editorial boards of online and print media are invited to participate. Nominations for the competition: • Architecture of the new time (residential complexes, public buildings) • Urban environment (transport, ecology, etc.) • Improvement and housing and communal services • Monuments of architecture. For each nomination three times a year, the best author and material are selected and announced, which will later be included in the shortlist of the award. On its basis, winners will be determined at the end of the year. Application deadlines for each of the three stages: Materials published in the period from 1st of October, 2018 to 31st of January, 2019 are accepted in stage 1 of the competition. Applications are submitted until 15th of February, inclusive. The announcement of the winners of the 1st quarter will take place on the 28th of February, 2019. Materials published in the period from 1st February to 31st of May, 2019 are accepted in the 2nd stage of the competition. Applications are submitted until 15th of June, inclusive. The announcement of the winners of the 2nd stage will take place on the 30th of June, 2019. Materials published in the period from 1st of June to 30th of September, 2019 are accepted in the 3rd stage of the competition. Applications are submitted until 15th of October, inclusive. The announcement of the winners of the 3rd stage will take place on 31st of October, 2019, after which the final annual debriefing and rewarding of the winners will take place.
