The state of elevators discussed in the Ministry of Construction

Today, a meeting on the replacement of elevating equipment with expired service life was held in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan R.K. Karimov. Representatives of municipalities and experts of the Ministry participated therein.

The key report was made by Acting Head of the Administration of Housing and Public Utilities Y.A. Mikhailov. According to the results of 2012 970 elevators were replaced in the Republic. In 2012 Tatarstan received extra 200 million rubles from the Fund of Housing and Public Utilities.  A part of the funds was allocated for the elevators replacement. In 2013-2017 7735 units of elevating equipment are to be replaced. Y.A. Mikhailov gave comparative data on the work performed by the municipalities. The participants discussed the current situation and the upcoming working plan.

Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan R.K. Karimov mentioned the great significance of the replacement and maintenance of elevating equipment. He asked the heads of the municipalities to promptly and efficiently monitor the work.

Besides, elevators manufactured by “Karacharovsky mechanical plant” OJSC were presented at the meeting. At the present time the plant works with “Kazan Elevator Producing Plant” LLC, and it allows to provide the Republic with elevators with the capacity of up to 5000 kg and passenger elevators with the capacity of 1 000 kg.
