A meeting on pollution elimination in Lake Sredny Kaban held in the Ministry

A meeting on pollution elimination in Lake Sredny Kaban took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing F.M. Khanifov. Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing R.K.Karimov, experts of Housing and Construction Units of the Ministry as well as experts on the environment and subsurface resources management participated therein.

As of today, the research results have shown that as for water contamination level the lake is close to the sanitary and epidemiological requirements. However, additional cleaning of storm and sewage runoffs is required. During the meeting the participants discussed various systems to remove the contaminants.
