28 November 2012, Wednesday
Today, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin is on his working trip in Moscow. There he attended the meeting between President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N.Minnikhanov and Director General of the Federal Fund for Housing Development A.A.Braverman. Drawing ineffectively used federal land plots into economic circulation was the main issue discussed during the meeting.

The Federal Fund for Housing Development is one of the largest players in the land market; the methods offered by the Fund are effective in the development of the economy housing market.

During the meeting it was noted that currently the Republic had experienced the shortage of land plots for future housing development in metropolitan areas.

It was noted that the land plots sold by investors when conducting an auction without the design documentation for urban planning and area planning lead to the unstructured approach to the social and infrastructural support for built-up residential areas.

As for this issue the attitude of the Republic is clear: at the time of the auction the project for area planning is to be developed for the land plot including facilities of social, communal and traffic infrastructure interconnected with further development of the city and its surrounding areas. Therefore, the major attention in the housing construction development n the Republic is paid to the support of major projects of integrated development of the territories. In particular, the social mortgage program is implemented within the framework of this work. This program can be further implemented in cooperation with the Federal Fund for Housing Development.
