Minister of Construction presents the results of the work on the development of the road network

Today Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin is on his working visit in Moscow. There he attended a meeting of the Accounting Chamber of the Russian Federation on the results of the work on the development of road facilities.

In the framework of the 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 the Republic is implementing the program of the development of the road network which provides the construction and reconstruction of urban roads, junctions, pedestrian crossings as well as major and minor repairs of roadways.

Minister I.E. Faizullin reported on the results of the work carried out in 2012 and plans for 2013. It is commonly known that currently the traffic has been started on 17 road sections, 8 junctions, 28 pedestrian crossings as well as in 54 streets which underwent major repairs and repair of the roadway.

The second sector of the first start-up facility of the Kazan underground is to be commissioned by May 2013.
