On April 3d, 2013 President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam N. Minnikhanov visited the Complex of Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants “TANEKO” OJSC and held a meeting on the construction of Phase 1B “Integrated Hydrocracking Unit”.
In accordance with the plan of the start-up work Phase 1B was divided into two start-up cycles taking into account their priority:
- 1st start-up cycle (49 facilities) consisting of: Section 4100 (hydrocracking), Section 3000 (intersection overpass), Section 3100 (hydrogen production unit), Section 3120 (hydrogen purification unit), tit.070 (interdepartmental overpasses) and offsite facilities.
- 2d start-up cycle (24 facilities): Section 4600 (oil production unit), Section 3110 (hydrogen production unit), Section 3400 (sulfur production unit) and offsite facilities.
The construction and installation work is to be entirely completed within the following period:
1st start-up cycle - June 2013.
2d start-up cycle - December 2013.
As of April 1st, 2013 the overall progress of the construction and installation work is 49%. 12.4 billion rubles were assimilated to perform the construction and installation work.
A significant increase in human resources at the construction site allowed reaching a monthly performance of the construction and installation work in the amount of 1 billion rubles. At the moment, the construction of Phase 1B involves more than 3.500 people
The first section of the Integrated Hydrocracking to be commissioned will be Section 3100 (hydrogen production). The construction and installation work at this section will be completed by the end of May 2013. Hydrogen production is to be started up in September 2013.
