Rustam Minnikhanov opens a new sports and leisure complex in Laishevsky area

Sports and Leisure Complex “Druzhba” in village Peschannye Kovali was opened today by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The President also visited the enterprises of the area and its medical clinic. The first place to be visited by the President was a new building of the medical clinic in village Stolbishchi. The construction of the three-storied building cost 47.1 million rubles and was completed in December 2012. Now there is a day hospital with 10 beds, 4 district physicians, 2 pediatricians, there are also physiotherapy, fluorography and dentistry offices. The clinic has one ambulance paramedic ambulance.

In village Peschannye Kovali Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening ceremony of Sports and Leisure Center “Druzhba”. The building with a total area of ​​2300 square meters was constructed in eighteen months, and its construction cost 134 million rubles.  The new sports complex is equipped with a gym, an auditorium for 200 seats, and a room for group work. The total capacity of the facility is 275 people per hour.

Speaking at the opening ceremony the President of Tatarstan noted that Kazan was not the one to be changed. “I think that we should pay attention to other areas”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.  “Today we visited the new clinic, saw a school, a nursery school is being built in the village, and now we are opening a sports and leisure complex”, added the President.

Rustam Minnikhanov presented the managers of the complex with a certificate for the purchase of sports equipment. In the sports complex the President of Tatarstan was welcome by player of “Zenit-Kazan” club Aleksandr Volkov. Rustam Minnikhanov also attended classes on computer literacy for seniors, spoke to the students and could see a good speed of Internet connection.

The President also visited Ramaevskoye farm. Since 2010 the farm has been engaged in incubation, rearing and slaughter of ducks. The total investment amounted to 200 million rubles, 150 jobs were created. Today the farm is equipped with the incubator for 80 000 eggs, and 6 buildings for 96,000 birds. The farm supplies products under orders to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. Accompanied by the managers of the enterprise Rustam Minnikhanov visited the incubator and two rearing houses for young and adult ducks.

Another enterprise to be visited by Rustam Minnikhanov in Peschannye Kovali was “DoorHan” LLC. The plant is included in the international group of companies DoorHan manufactures doors, roller blinds, doors, and aluminum systems. The manufacturing facility in Laishevsky area is an assembly plant equipped with an entirely automatic line for the production of gates and industrial doors.

During the visit to the plant Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to consider the use of the products in the construction projects of the Republic. At the same time President of the Republic of Tatarstan requested the top managers of DoorHan to consider the creation of larger production in Tatarstan.
