The President of Tatarstan got acquainted with new construction projects in the historical centre of Kazan
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a visiting meeting of the Commission on urban planning activities in historical settlements. Five projects of new construction in the historical centre of Kazan were considered today. Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Fishman-Bekmambetova, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. The developers of the Concept of Sustainable Development of the Historical Settlement of Kazan, Kazan architects Oleg Maklakov, Alexander Dembich, German Bakulin, Farida Zabirova and Anna Novikova also took part in the visit. Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the project and assessed several options for the design of the facade. The next object was a residential complex under construction at the intersection of Butlerov and Mayakovsky streets. The complex includes 2 blocks and underground parking. Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that the rules for observing the number of storeys in the historical centre are one of the main requirements for new construction. He instructed to bring the residential building in accordance with the established requirements. Further, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan examined the site on the street Nazarbayev, 37. It is planned to build an administrative building here. Last year, the project was considered at a meeting of the City Planning Council. It is recommended to link the scale and proportions of the designed object with the surrounding buildings. Rustam Minnikhanov approved this project. After that, the President went to the Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition centre. Here Rustam Minnikhanov was presented with two projects, the implementation of which is planned on the territory of the complex. One of them is the Interactive Science Center “House of Entertaining Science and Technology”. The next project is the "Soyuzmultpark" multimedia entertainment and development centre. Rustam Minnikhanov supported both projects and instructed to consider options for their placement on the territory of the Kazan Fair.
