As many as 2m 755 thousand square meters of housing will be built in Tatarstan in 2022

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference with all municipalities of the republic on the construction plans of the republic in 2022. Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin also took part in the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting Ayzatullin informed that the Ministry together with the State Housing Fund of the republic has developed a  2022-housing construction programme which was approved on 18 January with the total amount of 2m 755 thousand square meters of housing to be built in the current year.

The Minister said that the plan is to complete 72 social mortgage multi-apartment houses and 33 thousand square meters of them have already been completed which makes 22% from the current year plan. As many as 8 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 35.6 thousand square meters of commercial housing have already been commissioned and all over the republic the amount of commissioned housing is just 69 thousand square meters which makes only 2.5% of the planned, Ayzatullin said.

He continued saying that the ministry is continuing the programmes of providing housing for separate categories of residents such as 600 orphans, 22 families with many children, 50 young families and 7 families that relocated from the Far North and Chernobyl Disaster liquidators.
