President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting in Moscow to prepare for the meeting of the Commission of the State Council of Russia on Construction, Housing and Urban Environment, which was held at the Ministry of Construction and Housing of Russia.
The meeting participants discussed issues that will be submitted for discussion at the Commission of the State Council of Russia on Construction, Housing and Communal Services and the Urban Environment.
One of the key topics was the provision of housing and communal services. The President stressed that the population traditionally has a lot of complaints about the housing and communal sector, which, in turn, forms the attitude of people to the authorities.
The meeting discussed the pace of housing construction both in the country as a whole and at the regional level, including the construction of affordable housing on mortgages, other relevant topics in the construction sector, and also outlined the need to create new tools to solve urgent housing and communal services issues.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Construction and Housing of Russia Irek Fayzullin, General Director, Chairman of the Board of the GC - Fund for the Promotion of Housing and Communal Services Reform Konstantin Tsitsin, General Director of JSC "DOM.RF" Vitaly Mutko and other officials.
The Republic of Tatarstan was represented at the meeting by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin and others.
