Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the launch of the sinking of the subsequent stage of the 2nd line of the Kazan metro
Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the launch of the next stage of the 2nd line of the Kazan metro at the Zilant station.
Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representatives of the customer and contractor services.
The Aisylu tunneling complex has started laying the tunnel of the second branch of the Kazan metro. The tunnel will connect Lomzhinskaya Street and the 10th microdistrict of Kazan.
The General Director of JSC “Kazmetrostroy” Marat Rakhimov told Rustam Minnikhanov that the work is being carried out at the station “Lomzhinskaya” (the new name “Zilant”).
He recalled that the sinking of the second section from the Sakharova metro station (the new name Tulpar) to the Lomzhinskaya metro station (Zilant) was completed earlier. The total length of the tunnel is 2.2 km.
