The Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the annual media competition for the best coverage of topics in the field of construction, architecture and housing and communal services. The awards were presented to the winners by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
During a conversation with journalists, Marat Aizatullin said that Tatarstan occupies a leading position in the Russian Federation and the first place among the regions of the Volga Federal District in terms of the volume of housing being commissioned.
"We have been breaking our own records for two years in a row: in 2022, 3 million 100 thousand square meters of housing stock were introduced in the republic. And this year, more than 3 million 92 thousand square meters have already been commissioned. And this is despite the fact that the year has not ended yet, and its final results have not yet been summed up," the minister noted.
"A huge block of our work is the republican and federal programs for construction and major repairs. Let me remind you that 44 republican, 5 state programs and 7 national projects are being implemented in Tatarstan in the past year, with a total number of 4 thousand 143 objects under construction and repair," the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan said.
At the conclusion of the award ceremony, Marat Aizatullin congratulated the winners and wished them success and prosperity in the new year.
