Program on rural street lighting to be implemented in Tatarstan

The program on housing construction in Tatarstan in 2014 was presented today by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at the weekly meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.  

According to the Head of the Ministry of Construction, the program for 2014 has been developed in a volume of 2 million 399 thousand square meters, including social mortgage program - 418.8 thousand square meters, investment apartment housing - 992.8 thousand square meters, and low-rise housing construction - 987.4 square meters.

 “Under the social mortgage program 136 residential houses for 7 thousand 208 apartments are to be commissioned. 98 investment houses for 10 thousand 534 apartments are to be put into operation”, said the Minister. He also noted that in terms of low-rise housing construction based on individual housing construction, more than 10 thousand houses are to be built.

As for 98 investment apartment houses to be commissioned in 2014, the situation in the Republic is as follows. Land plots have been documented for  89 facilities (90 percent) , urban development plans have been developed for 87 facilities (89 percent) , provided water supply networks have been provided for 85 facilities (87 percent), sewerage – for 85 facilities (87 percent ), electricity – for 85 facilities (87 percent ), heating – for 88 facilities (90 percent) , gas – for 88 facilities (90 percent).  Building permits have been issued for 70 facilities (71 percent), and project estimates have been developed for 76 facilities (78 percent).

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that it was the time to plan the work under the programs of 2014. The Head of the Republic also announced pleasant news for the villagers.  A program on the street lighting in rural and suburban communities will be implemented in Tatarstan. “We have a very bad situation with the lighting of the streets. This program should be started”, he said. Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that it was necessary to cover large territory and use energy-saving technology.
