Nearly 38 km of networks were updated in 2023 under the new housing and communal services modernization program in the Republic of Tatarstan
A new program for the modernization of municipal infrastructure is being actively implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan. The operator of the housing and communal services modernization program is the PPK "Territorial Development Fund".
In total, in 2023-2024, it is planned to upgrade 124.7 km of networks in 10 municipalities of the republic. This will provide more comfortable living conditions for more than 1 million residents of the region.
In 2023, work began on 26 sites. To date, installation work has been completed at 19 sites. 37.9 km of engineering communications were repaired in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as in Zainsky, Zelenodolsk and Laishevsky districts. Among them, there are 19.3 km of wastewater disposal, 13 km of heat supply and 5.6 km of water supply. As a result, the quality of public services has improved for 66.6 thousand residents of municipalities.
In 2024, it is also planned to continue updating the communal infrastructure at 41 facilities.
Thanks to the implementation of the new program, it is planned to reduce the accident rate at public infrastructure facilities by more than 2.8% by 2025. In addition, the program will give an impetus to the development of housing construction.
