The All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements will be extended until 2030. This was stated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in a Message to the Federal Assembly. The ceremony of the announcement of the Message was held today in Moscow.
"The co-authors of the plans for the development of cities and towns should be their residents. It is necessary to actively use mechanisms when citizens themselves determine which facilities and problems need to be allocated money in the first place," the Russian President stressed.
In his address, Vladimir Putin announced that more than 30 thousand public spaces will be landscaped in Russia in six years. 360 billion rubles will be allocated for landscaping and major projects in this area.
Recall that in Tatarstan in the period from 2015 to 2023, 398 new public spaces were equipped, of which 225 objects within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment".
Within the framework of the All-Russian competition of Small Towns and Historical Settlements for the period from 2018 to 2023, 42 projects from the republic became winners, which received grants from the federal budget totaling more than 2.9 billion rubles.
