The Housing Fund allocates 1.84 billion rubles to move people from the failing housing stock in Tatarstan

The Board of the State Corporation - Fund Assisting the Restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities approved the application of the republic of Tatarstan for financial support from the Fund for the resettlement of people from the failing housing stock.

According to the approved application, Tatarstan will receive 1.84 billion rubles. In the co-financing, the Republic will add 2.39 billion rubles. These funds will be used for the resettlement of 12 thousand 330 people to new apartments from 713 damaged houses situated in 38 municipalities.

In 2008-2013 the Republic of Tatarstan received 11.42 billion rubles for the implementation of the programs on major repairs of apartment houses and resettlement of people from the failing housing stock. In the co-financing, Tatarstan added 22.64 billion rubles. These funds were used for major repairs of 7 thousand 965 apartment buildings and improving the living conditions of more than 1.65 million people, and the provision of new apartments to over 5 thousand people who had previously lived in 312 damaged houses, as reported by the Office of Public Relations of the Fund Assisting the Restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities.
