The International Exhibition of construction and finishing materials, technologies and equipment "STROIKA" has opened in Kazan for the first time. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev.
The opening was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Head of the Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Ageev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbai Orynbayev and invited guests.
"Tatarstan is the construction capital of the Volga region, and in Russia we are among the three leaders in terms of the volume of commissioned facilities. These are huge opportunities. But along with this, there are also market challenges. There are a lot of issues – the issuance of permits, sets of rules, outdated regulations, digitalization, transfer of powers from municipalities and much more. To take on these challenges with dignity, you need to be at the forefront, so to speak, technologically," Taliya Minullina, head of the Investment Development Agency, spoke at the opening.
After welcoming words, the guests of honor proceeded directly to the construction site – they put on helmets, gloves, picked up a trowel and began to lay bricks. Guests from Uzbekistan also took part in the improvised construction site. Then everyone left their wishes on one of the building blocks.
The guests also got acquainted with the exposition of the exhibition. More than 60 participants from 14 regions of Russia and seven cities of Tatarstan presented their products here.
