Marat Aizatullin told reporters about the development of the republic's construction complex

On the eve of the Builder's Day, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin told reporters about the key areas of work of the construction complex and facilities in 2024. The meeting was held in the building of the Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Marat Aizatullin started the meeting with the main indicators. Thus, the turnover of the Tatarstan construction industry in the six months of 2024 increased by 25% compared to the same period last year and reached 316 billion rubles. According to the Minister, the construction complex accounts for 7% of the gross regional product of the republic. The industry ended 2023 with a record turnover of 708 billion rubles, the projected figure for this year is 791 billion.

As of August 7, 2 million 535 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the republic. According to these data, Tatarstan occupies the third position in Russia and the first in the Volga Federal District.

"Most of it is individual housing construction, we are also on schedule for apartment buildings. We have a schedule, worked out with both builders and developers. Therefore, by the end of the year we will definitely fulfill all the plans," the minister said.

The head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan also announced the key facilities that were built on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, their opening is expected in Kazan this year. This is the new building of the Kamala Theater on the shore of Kaban Lake and a Children's Park on the Kazanka embankment.

"The park will be the best children's park. We will open it on August 30th. Work is underway on both sites," he said.

Despite the difficult weather conditions and rains for the builders, Marat Aizatullin expressed confidence that all the facilities will be completed on time.
