The Forum of Small Towns and Historical Settlements is one of the key events for the formation of a comfortable urban environment. The Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin will take part in it. The speakers will be representatives of federal and regional authorities and development institutions, leading Russian architects, urbanists and designers.
The main event of the forum will be the announcement of the winners of the IX All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment.
The First All-Russian Youth Forum "Youth and the Urban Environment" will be held within the framework of the forum from August 24 to 26. Its participants will be able to take part in practical work on digital urbanism and create interactive landscaping projects.
The first National Award in the field of Creating a comfortable urban environment will be held on August 25, where the best regions for the implementation and experts of the federal project "Creating a comfortable urban environment" for 5 years will be awarded, as well as the best subjects of Russia and the winners in the nominations will be determined.
During public discussions, interactive events and a plenary session, issues of the impact of the urban environment on the preservation of traditional family values, as well as the achieved effects from the implementation of public space improvement projects and the development of small towns will be discussed.

The All-Russian competition has been held by the Ministry of Construction of Russia since 2018 on behalf of the President of Russia. It involves cities with a population of up to 200 thousand people, as well as historical settlements of federal and regional significance.
