Rustam Minnikhanov visited a new lyceum in Kazan and took part in the ceremony of admission and commissioning of new schools and kindergartens

Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new multidisciplinary lyceum No.133 "Gaila" in the M-14 microdistrict in Kazan. He was accompanied by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov.

The educational institution, built as part of the implementation of the federal program "Modern School" of the national project "Education", is designed for 1,224 students. The three–storey school building with a total area of 20.7 thousand square meters housed 52 classrooms (20 of which are for primary classes), an assembly hall for 300 people, recreational areas for younger and older children, large and small gyms, a large dining room.

The RAIS of the Republic was informed that the new lyceum focuses on the study of modern technologies. The institution plans to open a school of creative industries, as well as a children's drone control center. Additional education will be represented by classes in rhythmic gymnastics, football, choreography, journalism and robotics sections, and a workshop for making ceramic products.

 

Then, a solemn ceremony of reception and commissioning of new educational institutions built in the republic took place in the assembly hall via video link. These are 8 new schools and 1 additional building (for a total of 10 thousand places), as well as 2 kindergartens (for a total of 500 places).
