Modernization of engineering infrastructure continues in Tatarstan

Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin reported on the implementation of engineering infrastructure programs at a traditional meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan today.

He recalled that construction and installation works are carried out within the framework of republican and federal modernization programs.

 According to the republican program for providing the population with drinking water, the implementation is 77%. Over the past two weeks, work has been completed on 5 facilities in 4 municipalities.

The program of construction, reconstruction of networks and structures of wastewater disposal systems has been completed by 65% of the total volume. This week, the work has completed the facility in the Sabinsky district.

The reconstruction of gas distribution networks and indoor gas consumption networks with the installation of boilers accounts for 93% of the total volume.

The street lighting restoration program has been implemented by 82%. Over the past half month, work has been completed on 70 sites in 8 municipalities.

As for the federal part of the programs, 94% of the program "Modern appearance of rural areas" has been completed, according to which engineering infrastructure facilities are being built.

According to the federal program for the modernization of municipal infrastructure, construction and installation works account for 88%. Currently, contractors are working at 28 sites.  Over the past two weeks, work has been completed at two sites in Kazan.
