Mobile boiler houses were tested in Tatarstan before winter

7 November 2024, Thursday

Today, two mobile boiler plants were tested at the production site of Kazenergo JSC. The installations are necessary for rapid response to emergency situations, heating water in the heating and ventilation system with the possibility of connecting to existing systems in a minimum time. There are 2 such complexes in the republic, they can heat both residential buildings and social facilities – kindergartens, schools, cultural and sports institutions, and so on.

"One of the boiler houses has a capacity of 3.5 MW. It is capable of heating 8 five-storey five-entrance houses. The second boiler house – 2.5 MW – will provide 6 such houses. They operate continuously, they run on diesel fuel," said Damir Shaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Boiler houses can be used in various situations throughout the territory of Tatarstan. Installation of the complexes takes 2-3 hours, said Ilnar Khisamov, Deputy General Director of SUE Tatleasing.

"They do not depend on weather conditions. The complexes can be installed both on the foundation and on the chassis of the car. Boiler houses work continuously – 24 by 7, as long as there is fuel, and they do not overheat," he noted.

Mobile boiler houses were purchased after the destruction of the boiler house on Portovaya Street in Kazan, which occurred in March 2018. Then 1.5 thousand people were left without heat, and it took about a day to eliminate the consequences. Boiler plants were purchased within the framework of republican financing and are on the balance sheet of SUE Tatleasing.

It should be noted that mobile boiler houses are the largest part of the emergency technical reserve, which is annually formed on the balance sheet of SUE Tatleasing. It also includes diesel electric generators necessary to provide power supply, as well as other equipment – pipes, valves, pumps, etc. In case of "non-standard" situations at housing and communal services facilities, such stocks are transferred to the districts.
