On October 24th, 2013, all-Russian conference “Effective management of housing and public utilities to create favorable living conditions for citizens” began in Kaliningrad. The all-Russian meeting was arranged by the State Corporation - Fund Assisting the Restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities, the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for housing policy and housing and public utilities, the Government of the Kaliningrad region and the Working Group of the Expert Council under the Government of the Russian Federation on the development of housing and public utilities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the federal government, heads of the Russian regions and municipalities, heads of enterprises of housing and public utilities, scientific, design organizations, companies manufacturing materials and process equipment, including energy-saving and energy-efficient one, for housing and public utilities. Tatarstan is represented by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin.
The forum was opened by a meeting on “Creating a regional systems of major repairs of the common property of apartment buildings”, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak.
Next there was held a round table meeting with the participation of federal and regional mass media on informing citizens about their rights and responsibilities in the housing sector, moderated by Head of the Working Group on the development of Housing Advisory Council under the Government of the Russian Federation, Executive Director of “ZhKKh Razvitiye” Andrei Chibis.
The first day of the all-Russian conference was closed by a plenary session and a joint off-site meeting of the State Duma Committee on Housing Policy and Housing and Public Utilities and the Working Group of the Expert Council under the Government of the Russian Federation on the development of housing and public utilities on “Creating a regional systems of major repairs of the common property of apartment buildings”.
