Issues of occupational health and safety discussed in Kazan

Today, the Palace of Labor of Kazan held a joint meeting of the Board of Tatarstan Republic’s Organization (Union of Builders of Russia), ROOR “Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan” and the working group on occupational health and safety in the construction sector of the Republic of Tatarstan on “The implementation of measures to prepare companies and organizations for the autumn - winter period of 2013-2014, the occupational injuries in the construction sector of the Republic of Tatarstan and measures to prevent it”.

The event was arranged by the Tatarstan Republic’s organization (Trade Union of Builders of Russia), ROOR “Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan” and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by Head of the Department of the Construction Sector Development I.S.Gimayev. He reported on “Activities of the construction sector in 2013 and prospects for 2014”.

The reports were also made by Chief Technical Inspector of Labor of the Republic’s organization (Trade Union of Builders of Russia) P.V.Glebov, Deputy Head of the State Labor Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan I.G.Mukhametshin, Deputy Director of SRO RNP “Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan” M.V.Rizvanov, Deputy Rector of Kazan State University of Architecture and Construction, Professor, Head of the Security and Law Department D.K.Sharafutdinov, as well as representatives of the construction sector.
