Tatarstan citizens choose the youth capital of Russia
Tatarstan citizens can vote for the Youth Capital of Russia – 2025 by December 20. Perm, one of the cities of the Volga Federal District, claims to receive this title and support in the implementation of youth projects, grant competitions and events at the federal level. The creation of opportunities for self-realization of young people throughout the country corresponds to the goals of the national project "Education". The results of the voting will be announced on December 22, 2024 at the annual Time of the Young award.
"Traditionally, at the end of the year, the Youth Capital of Russia is chosen by popular vote. Perm was included in the list of finalists. More than 285,000 young people live here, who need our support to become the youth capital by 2025. Participation in the voting is organized on the Public Services portal: you need to log in under your account and open the survey, then from the list of finalist cities vote for Perm and click the "Submit" button. A notification will appear on the screen that the voice has been counted. The winning city will become a place of attraction for young people from all over the country and it is in it that various federal projects from Rosmolodezh will be implemented. I invite the youth of Tatarstan to vote for Perm, let our Volga Federal District become a place of attraction for new interesting and bright projects for next year," said Rinat Sadykov, Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan.
17 Russian cities competed for the right to participate in the final. The selection was carried out taking into account data on the existing infrastructure for youth in the city, ongoing projects and programs on the territory of the subjects, as well as information on support for youth initiatives.
The winner of the competition will receive the right to implement significant projects of the Rosmolodezh ecosystem, including federal grant competitions, the development of a media strategy for promotion and expert support for the implementation of youth initiatives.
