Kazan will host the Regional Day of the II All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland — the Strength of Russia"

On January 29-30, 2025, Kazan will host the Regional Day of the II All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland – the Strength of Russia". The theme of the event will be creating a comfortable living environment.

The forum will be held at the Bashir Rameev IT Park and will bring together about 400 specialists, including representatives of municipalities, architects, planners and experts in the field of urbanism.

The Forum is organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The Government of the Republic of Tatarstan is the co-organizer of the Regional Day "Comfortable Living Environment".

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, stressed the importance of sharing experiences: "In the year of the tenth anniversary of the Program for the Development of Public Spaces, we are pleased to receive guests from all over the country. Joint efforts will help create equal conditions for residents of all regions of Russia, while preserving their uniqueness."

The forum will become a platform for discussing strategies for the development of cities and towns, improving infrastructure and introducing new technologies. The program includes sessions on yard improvement, development of design codes, operation of public spaces and assessment of their impact on the quality of life. Federal and regional experts will participate in the discussions.

Marat Aizatullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted: "We are glad that the Regional Day of the forum will be held in Kazan this year, as Tatarstan is the founder of the program of improvement of public territories. Over the past 10 years, we have achieved great results and gained experience, which it is time to share with other regions. In Tatarstan, more than 400 public spaces have been built from scratch or renovated for a total amount of more than 33 billion rubles, both in large cities and in small settlements."
