A rear area veteran meets his 95-year anniversary in a new house

Shakirova Bibikamal Shayakhmetovna, who lives in village Kildebyak, was born on November 2, 1918 in village Kildebyak. She meets her 95-year anniversary in a new house built under the program on the provision of housing for veterans and widows of veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

Bibikamal met her future husband in Kizil; they married in 1939. Both worked at a chemical factory. Before the war, her husband sent Bibikamal and their daughter to her native village. During the war, was a signal operator, and was twice severely wounded. After leg amputation in the Kazan hospital, he returned to Kildebyak.

Before retiring, Bibikamal worked as a spare hand. She was awarded with medal “For Valiant Labor” for the work in the rear area, as well as many commemorative medals.
