20 January 2025, Monday

Today, the final board meeting of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in the new building of the Kamal Theater. The event summed up the results of 2024 and set targets for 2025. The meeting was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, and others.

The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, in his final report noted important aspects of the activities of housing and communal services.

The state of the communal infrastructure remains a major problem in the housing and communal services sector. One of the tools to reduce the wear and tear of utility networks is the federal program for the Modernization of municipal infrastructure.

4.5 billion rubles have been allocated to the Republic in 2 years – 128 km of heating, water supply and sewerage networks have been updated.

Starting this year, the program is included in the new national project "Infrastructure for Life", which already has funding limits including federal and national funds for 8 billion 362 million rubles for the next 3 years. Of these, 3 billion 159 million rubles will be allocated for 2025.

The Minister recalled that, given the rate of deterioration of networks, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan made an unprecedented and strategically important decision to launch, in addition to the federal, a new long-term republican program for the modernization of housing and communal infrastructure. "This year, its volume will amount to 10 billion rubles. Work on the formation of this program is currently being completed," said Marat Aizatullin.
