The digital vertical of the construction industry is actively being formed in the republic in order to comprehensively manage the life cycle of capital construction facilities. This is a priority task laid down in the Industry's Development Strategy until 2030. Director of the State Expertise of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafar Shakirov made a report on the development of this area in the Republic of Tatarstan at a meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"Gosexpertiza of the Republic of Tatarstan acts as a center for assistance in the implementation of information modeling technologies in construction, and also administers the federal project management information system. We are proud that by the end of 2024 Tatarstan ranks 1st among 89 regions of the country in the federal rating of the digital vertical of the construction industry," Rafar Shakirov said.

The Director of the State Expertise of the Republic of Tatarstan acquainted the board members with the key projects being implemented as part of building the digital vertical of the construction industry. He drew particular attention to the fact that in the Republic of Tatarstan, from January 1, 2023, all project documentation is being developed and examined using information modeling technologies.

"Since 2015, the State Expertise of the Republic of Tatarstan has been accepting projects with information models, since then 223 objects have successfully passed the examination using these models. A striking example is the Galiasgar Kamala Theater building, which was designed using information modeling technologies. This has resulted in significant improvements: 48% reduction in collisions, 23% reduction in design changes, and 17% reduction in total design time. In addition, there is an improvement in communication, which contributes to an increase in work efficiency," Rafar Shakirov emphasized.
