Tatarstan entered the top 5 regions under the municipal infrastructure modernization program
In 2023, the municipal infrastructure modernization program was launched with the participation of support from the federal budget. During this period, over 1.1 thousand events in the municipal sector were implemented.
During the implementation of the program, over 2,000 utility networks and industrial facilities, including boiler houses, water intakes, and wastewater treatment plants, were built, overhauled, and reconstructed in the Russian regions.
The largest amount of work was carried out in the Smolensk region, where 209.2 km of networks were updated and 6 facilities were commissioned, in the Sverdlovsk Region (189.3 km), in the Chelyabinsk Region (137.8 km and two facilities), in Tatarstan (128 km) and Bashkortostan (115 km). This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
