6 February 2025, Thursday

The IV International Architecture and Construction forum "Kazanysh" has opened in the capital of Tatarstan, which will be a continuation of the BRICS summit in Kazan last October.

Speaking at the plenary session of the forum, the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, stressed that "Kazanysh" takes place in the new building of the Galiasgar Kamal Theater, which was opened in January this year.

"The unique project was created by a consortium of architects from Japan and Russia. It is symbolic that this architectural forum became one of the first large-scale international events within its walls," said Rustam Minnikhanov.

He noted that Tatarstan pays special attention to landscaping, creating comfortable conditions for our residents and guests. "This is a priority in our work," said the Rais of Tatarstan. - The implementation of national projects initiated by the country's leadership, as well as state programs and national projects, allows us to annually introduce 3.5 million square meters. Every year we build and reconstruct more than 4,000 social and engineering facilities, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals, cultural and sports facilities. We are implementing major road and infrastructure projects. A lot of work is being done in terms of the formation of public spaces. Over the past 10 years, 450 parks, squares, boulevards, embankments and other facilities have been landscaped in Tatarstan."

As Rustam Minnikhanov reminded, over 5 years of the implementation of the "Our Yard" program in Tatarstan, more than 5,000 courtyards of apartment buildings have been put in order and landscaped. As a result, Tatarstan entered the top three in the rating of Russian regions in terms of quality of life last year.

"We take a comprehensive approach to the issue of landscaping and creating a comfortable environment. Thus, work on sustainable urban development and the design of new facilities is carried out jointly with institutes such as Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt, the Kazan Development Institute, and the Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan. The most important thing is that Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering provides support in training personnel for the industry," he said.

The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin is taking part in the IV International Architectural and Construction Forum "Kazanysh".
