In the Volga Federal District, the municipal infrastructure is being modernized with the involvement of concessional loans from the National Welfare Fund and financial support from the federal budget. The operator of these programs is the Territorial Development Fund (RDF).
According to the FRT, since 2022, 1.2 thousand km of heating, water supply and sanitation networks, as well as 119 housing and communal services facilities, have been commissioned in the regions of the Volga Federal District.
The largest number of utility networks was laid and repaired in Bashkortostan – 254.1 km. In addition, 32 production facilities were put into operation in the republic, including boiler houses, pumping stations and other water supply facilities.
The Republic of Tatarstan ranks second in terms of the volume of engineering networks, where 162.4 km were built and renovated. Two sewage pumping stations for the drainage system and a pumping station with clean water tanks for the water supply system were also built in the region.
The Nizhny Novgorod region closes the top three. Over 150 km of utility networks and 23 facilities, including boiler houses and sewage pumping stations, were built and reconstructed here.
