Work on major repairs of apartment houses in Tatarstan made in the amount of 4.7 billion rubles

According to the State Housing Inspectorate, the work on major repairs of apartment houses in Tatarstan was made ​​for a total amount of 4.7 billion rubles, which is 99.9 % of the limit for the year.

This was announced today by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at the Republic video conference meeting.

The meeting was held with all the municipalities of Tatarstan and chaired by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov.

As recalled by Irek Faizullin, today the major repairs have been completed in 839 of 841 apartment houses included in the program on major repairs in 2013.

Thanks to the savings, the additional program included 82 apartment houses, where the facades and lifting equipment, etc. were repaired (in Kazan and Almetyevsk).

Currently, the main types of work on the major repairs have been completed in all 160 secondary schools and 7 special schools, as reported by the Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan. At that, the work is being continued in 8 general education schools and one special school without affecting the learning process.

As part of the implementation of the program on the installation of double-pressure boilers, in 2013 the Fund for the installation of gas service transferred four thousand nine apartments onto the individual heating system. The program on the transfer of 5 thousand 332 apartments onto the individual heating system has been developed for 2014.

As for program “Pure Water”, 286.2 km of water supply networks were constructed, 25 artesian wells were drilled, and 23 water towers were installed in 2013. The water supply system was improved in 106 villages in 45 municipalities. According to Irek Faizullin, it is planned to build 210 km of water supply networks, drill 24 artesian wells and install 19 water towers in 2014. To continue the work in 2015 it is essential to begin designing 34 events in 25 municipalities.

In 2014, Tatarstan will start implementing the program to improve the quality of heat supply in budgetary institutions. In addition, the program to improve street lighting in rural areas will be initiated. According to Irek Faizullin, the limits of the program have already been defined; the program will only include rural settlements without regional centers and towns.

The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan also reported on the program of training and retraining for the housing sector. The program is implemented in the Republic for the second year (as part of the training, retraining and skills development activities in the housing sector of Tatarstan for 2012-2016).

As of November 6th, 2013, 3628 specialists of the housing sector, that is 76% of the annual plan, have been trained and retrained in the Republic. The implementation of the plan for training and development in 2013 was provided by 39 municipal areas; the work continues in 6 municipalities.

The Head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan reported on the major repairs of facilities to accommodate multi-service centers in the municipal areas,  on the equipment of rural schools with warm sanitary units, on the major repairs of veterinary associations, as well as the measures aimed at ensuring the availability of educational institutions. In particular, in the framework of program “Available Environment” in 2013, the availability of schools for people with disabilities was ensured in 15 schools in 14 municipalities of the Republic.
