Improvement of public spaces has begun in Tatarstan under the national project "Infrastructure for Life"

Marat Aizatullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the implementation of republican and federal programs for the construction of apartment buildings and socio-cultural facilities and other events last Saturday at a meeting at the Government House of Tatarstan.

The meeting was held via videoconference with all municipal districts, and was conducted by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Marat Aizatullin, in particular, said that in Tatarstan, according to the national project "Infrastructure for Life", improvement of public spaces in Menedeleevsky, Zelenodolsk, Rybno-Slobodsky and Kaibitsky districts has begun. Work on other facilities is scheduled to begin before May 10.

In total, 51 public spaces will be improved in the republic this year under the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment", which is part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". More than 1 billion 719 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes, including almost 244 million from the national budget.

The improvement program includes 7 facilities that won the All-Russian Competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements. These are projects such as the Upper Sviyaga Coast Promenade in Sviyazhsk, Zelenodolsk Municipal District, the Development of Vokzalnaya and Ometova Streets in Agryz, Agryz Municipal District, and Quantum Boulevard in Innopolis, Verkhneuslonsky Municipal District.

Also, thanks to the successful participation in the All-Russian competition, the "Arsk plots - the new life of the historical quarter" in the city of Arsk in the Arsky municipal district, the Kamashevo landscape park in the city of Mendeleevsk in the Mendeleevsky municipal district, the historical quarter of Zelenodolsk "Polukamushki" in the Zelenodolsk municipal district will be updated. A comprehensive development of Lenin Street in the area from Leo Tolstoy Street to Narimanov Street is planned in Chistopol.
