The results of the VIII All-Russian Architectural Heritage Festival were summed up in Ryazan. It was attended by more than a thousand architects and restorers from different cities and regions of Russia, as well as foreign countries. As part of the diverse business program, round tables, lectures, discussions, and conferences were organized, in which leading experts in the field of architectural and urban heritage preservation spoke.
Vladimir Kudryashev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, who participated in the festival, noted the decent level of organization of the event. "Many regions with interesting projects were represented at the festival. It is not surprising that for the first time in the long history of the festival, three regions received the highest award – the Grand Prix of the Cultural Heritage of the Regions of Russia review competition: the Republic of Tatarstan, Moscow and St. Petersburg," Vladimir Kudryashev shared his impressions.
Tatarstan was awarded for the complex of highly professional works submitted to the competition:
– "The concept of sustainable development of the historical settlement of Chistopol" and "The concept of sustainable development of the historical settlement of Yelabuga, Republic of Tatarstan". Participant: Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan;
– "Restoration of cultural heritage sites in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan". Participant: SUE Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt 4
– "Complexity and awareness in the management of a cultural heritage site. Restoration and adaptation of the cultural heritage site of federal significance "Marjani Mosque", 1770". Participant: Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Protection of Cultural Heritage; State Budgetary Institution "Cultural Heritage Center of Tatarstan"4
Tatarstan also won a Silver Diploma in the nomination "Implemented projects for the restoration of architectural and landscape heritage sites and their adaptation to modern conditions."
