In 2024, 1.06 thousand non–residential buildings were commissioned in Tatarstan, the total area of which exceeded 1.7 million square meters. m. Of these, 23% were commercial facilities, 18.9% were industrial facilities, 14.9% were agricultural, 5% were sports facilities, 4.7% were healthcare facilities, and 2% were educational institutions. Gimaev noted that now the projects of residential complexes provide for non-residential areas. These can be either built-in or attached rooms. As a rule, commercial buildings in apartment buildings occupy the ground floor.
Today, there is a shortage of office and warehouse space in the major cities of Tatarstan – Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk, Gimaev said. According to him, this issue is not so relevant for the regional centers of the republic.
