Over 17 years, more than 12,000 apartment buildings have been renovated under the republican program

The program of capital repairs of apartment buildings began operating in Tatarstan in 2008 and is one of the most ambitious, given the timing of its implementation, the number of people affected, and the volume of investments. "Tatarstan's positive experience has served as an impetus for making changes to federal housing legislation. In this regard, at the end of 2013, a regional system of capital repairs of apartment buildings was established in all regions of the Russian Federation, which included the adoption of a number of regulatory acts, including the Law on Capital Repairs, the creation of a regional operator, the establishment of a minimum contribution amount, and the approval of a regional capital repair program," said Marat Aizatullin..

17,635 apartment buildings were included in the republican regional program. The implementation period is set for 30 years, from 2014 to 2043. A regional operator has been created, the non–profit organization Housing and Communal Services Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, over the past 17 years, more than 12 thousand apartment buildings have been renovated, the total area of which was over 53 million square meters.m. The number of residents living in these houses exceeded 2 million people.
