Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims held in Kazan

Today, sports complex “Basket- Hall” hosted the sixth mass campaign devoted to the annual Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims. The action was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Vladimir Kudryashev.

Also, the event was attended by educational institutions, public organizations, children's public organizations, charitable funds, public organizations such as organizations of persons with disabilities, the mass media and all the interested agencies including the State Motor Vehicle Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan and insurance companies. The event was attended by officials including leaders of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of ministries, departments and municipalities, as well as heads of religious associations.

The event was accompanied by songs and dances performed by young actors and groups, by demonstration of music videos, public service announcements, which promote safe behavior on the road. The participants paid tribute to the victims of road traffic accidents by a moment of silence.
