Participants of the All-Russian Forum "Development of small towns and historical settlements" visited KGASU

The mayors of the cities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation visited Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering today. The tour was organized as part of the X All-Russian Forum "Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements", which is being held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.

The forum participants visited the scientific and educational centers of the University "Geodesy", "Roads", "Digital Roads", "Strength", "Mechanics", "Flows", "Architectural Physics", "Heritage", "Urban Planning", "Digital".

The guests were guided by Vice-rectors of KGASU David Kordonchik and Evgeny Vdovin.

After the tour, Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, and the Co-chairman of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) met in the architectural and educational space of KGASU Irina Guseva with the mayors of the cities of the subjects of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, the participants discussed participation in the All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment, the implementation of already supported projects and other relevant issues.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.

The All-Russian Forum "Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements" is taking place in Kazan from August 20 to 21. The Forum is being held for the 10th time and is a key industry event in the field of creating a comfortable urban environment. The platform traditionally brings together representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions, as well as leading experts in the field of architecture, urbanism and design to discuss and develop new solutions. As part of the forum's business program, the winners of the X All-Russian Competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable Urban Environment, as well as the IV Competition for subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District, will be announced.

The organizers of the forum are the Ministry of Construction of Russia together with the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the DOM.RF Development Institute.
