2,143 million square meters of housing, or 89.4% of the annual plan, commissioned in Tatarstan

As of November 29th, 2013, the Republic of Tatarstan has had 2,143 million square meters of housing, or 89.4% of the annual plan, commissioned. This was announced today by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at the Republic’s meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The video conference meeting with all the municipal areas of Tatarstan was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

According to Irek Faizullin, 268 thousand square meters of housing, or 69.9% of the annual plan, were commissioned under the social mortgage program. He said that 120 houses for 6638 apartments are to be built under the social mortgage program in 2014.

As for the program on the construction of rental housing, a 64- apartment house with the area of 7,85 thousand square meters is being built in Yelabuga city. The object has a high degree of readiness. Irek Faizullin noted that 11 rental houses with the area of ​​41.4 thousand square meters are to be built in 2014.

822 families were put on the consolidated list of large families of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013 in the framework of the provision of housing for certain categories of citizens, including large families with five or more children. 116 million 191.14 thousand rubles were allocated to provide them with housing; 44 certificate were issued. As of November 29th, 2013, forty-two certificates were implemented (through the State Housing Fund under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan). Irek Faizullin requested to speed up the issuance of two more certificates for large families in 2013 (Kamskoye Ustye and Naberezhnye Chelny).

Further, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the provision of housing for orphans. In 2013, for this purpose there were provided 246 million rubles, including 79 million rubles allocated as the subsidies from the federal budget. Housing will be provided for 265 orphans; 261 apartments have already been documented. The Head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan also reported that in 2014 it is planned to provide housing for 294 orphans (the list already submitted to the State Housing Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan).

Regarding the construction of apartment investment houses, 82 objects out of 114 planned investment apartment residential buildings have been commissioned, and the construction of 32 houses is being continued.

To reduce the priority in pre-school institutions in 2014, it is supposed to commission 90 facilities for 10490 places. As reported by Irek Faizullin, the limits have been approved.

According to the program on the construction of rural clubs, 47 facilities are to be built in 2014; the amount of funding is 541.7 million rubles. It should be noted that 46 rural clubs were built in 2013, and three additional facilities were built under the supplementary program.  

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov drew the attention to the fact that it is time to be closely engaged in programs of 2014. He also noted the need to take a responsible approach to the construction of kindergartens in the areas. Kindergartens are built on your suggestions, as he reminded to the heads of municipalities, one of the tasks is to monitor the progress of the construction and timing. Rustam Minnikhanov also noted that serious budget funds had been allocated for these purposes. As a positive example, Irek Faizullin reported on the construction of two kindergartens in Kazan.  They were built in a short time and are of high quality (one object located in Noksinsky Spusk).
