Irek Faizullin participates in the meeting on “The main trends of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan”

Today, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E.Faizullin participated in the meeting on “The main trends of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan”, which was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, and attended by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and members of the Government of the Republic.

Opening the meeting, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted the slowdown of the world and the Republican economy. “There is some slowdown, and we, based on the current situation, need to understand what measures should be taken”, said the President.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the scope of the construction work will be provided by the developing sites of SEZ “Alabuga”, “Innopolis” and Kamsky industrial cluster.

 “The main growth will be in the petrochemical industry, machine-building and at our new sites such as Innopolis, SEZ “Alabuga” and Kamsky industrial cluster”, said the President of Tatarstan at the end of the meeting. “We have effective directions, and they should be developed”, he added. He also urged to pay attention to the training of specialists and their involvement in the development of the Republic's economy. The President instructed to hold regular meetings of the Economic Council of the Republic of Tatarstan to hold detailed discussions of the economic situation in Tatarstan.
