The overhaul of the Mikhail Kuzmin secondary school in the village of Staroe Tyaberdino, Kaibitsky district, has been completed. This year, the builders have renovated the facade of the school and finished the boiler room. Earlier, windows and doors were replaced here, and a complex of interior finishing and electrical work was carried out.

The two-storey building with a total area of 2,136 square meters and all amenities was opened in 2003. It is designed for 162 students. There is also a kindergarten with 25 places.  Previously, the educational institution was located in a building built in 1934. Since 1999, due to its dilapidated condition, children have been taught by the collective farm board. It was then that the decision was made to build a new school. In 1964, by a decree of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR, the school was named after fellow countryman, Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Kuzmich Kuzmin.

There are currently 30 students and 12 pupils in the school. As a result of the renovation, the children's educational process takes place in a comfortable environment.

In total, 33 schools and educational centers will be renovated in Tatarstan in 2025. Of these, 10 schools in 10 municipalities are under the federal program "All the best for children" of the national project "Youth and Children".
