The share of the construction complex in the gross regional product exceeded 7%

A meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today. Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Fayzullin, the Minister of Construction and Housing of Russia, and other officials took part in its work.

The main report on the results of the construction complex in 2025 and plans for the current year was delivered by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.

According to Marat Aizatullin, the share of the construction complex in the gross regional product exceeded 7%. The volume of work on the type of activity "Construction" amounted to over 1 trillion rubles in comparable prices.

"We have increased the volume of services provided and the organization of the housing and communal complex - plus 4.4%. Wage growth is noticeable, although in the industries we oversee it still remains below the national average," said the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Specialized educational institutions graduated more than 5,700 specialists last year. Nevertheless, the minister stressed, the problem of staff shortages is still acute: today more than 23,000 vacancies have been opened, of which the construction industry accounts for the majority.

Another point of application of efforts is to increase labor productivity, especially given the tightening of migration policy.

"The national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" is being implemented in the country. A total of 60 enterprises took part in it during its implementation. In our industries, this is 17% of the total number of participants. In 2025, the project included 18 enterprises. An economic effect of 628 million rubles has been achieved," Marat Aizatullin recalled.
